Steven Dimmitt

My name is Steven Dimmitt, and I started climbing at age 18. By my second year, I knew I wanted to climb for the rest of my life and dreamed of climbing V10 and 5.13. But being an average gym climber, I didn't know how to get there. 

I dedicated my life to learning how to train effectively, improve technique, master mental strategies, and optimize nutrition to improve. Who is Climb Accelerator for?

Climb Accelerator is for boulderers, sport climbers, trad climbers, or multi-discipline climbers of any ability level who want to unlock their full potential and reach their ultimate climbing goals.

Do I have to hangboard?

No, you don't have to hangboard. There are many ways to get strong fingers. My job is to share all of the best tools and protocols I've found, and guide you to the ones that fit your life, preferences, and goals. 

Do I have to lift weights?

No, you don't have to lift weights to climb hard. You may find however that strength training can be less intimidating and more enjoyable than you've experienced in the past. My goal is to help you find the least amount of strength training possible to support your climbing. And if you'd rather skip the weight room, we can make that work too.

Do I have to board climb?

The Moonboard, Kilter Board, and Tension Board, are great tools. But there's always more than one path to any goal. If you don't like board climbing or don't have access to a board, we'll find another way to get you strong.

What if I don't have a specific goal?

Many of my clients just want to "get stronger" or "improve in general" or "enjoy their climbing more". You don't need a specific grade goal or dream route to take your climbing to the next level, whatever that means for you. My job is simply to help you on your journey and save you time.

What if I don't have access to a gym or rock?

You don't need a cutting-edge training facility or 5-star climbs in your backyard to climb hard. My job is to meet you where you are at, and find creative solutions to help you reach your goals, no matter your limitations or constraints. 

What if I'm injured?
